Due to the ongoing public health crisis, both our May 1–2 concert "Faithful and Pious Heart" and our May 28–June 1 Dowland concerts with the Cambridge Society for Early Music have been cancelled.
We are very disappointed not to be able to share the end of our planned 2019–2020 season with our fellow musicians and dear friends in the audience. Nevertheless, we feel sure this is the right decision for the health and safety of our larger community.
We plan to reschedule both these programs for a later date.
If you have already purchased tickets online for the May 1–2 concerts, you will be receiving an email from Brown Paper Tickets shortly offering you the option to be refunded or to donate your purchase to In Stile Moderno—for which we would be very grateful, if you feel so moved.
Our relatively small forces, low overheads, and generous support from our season donors mean that we are lucky to be able to cancel these concerts without major financial losses. However, if you would like to support our many freelance colleagues and friends facing a great deal of financial uncertainty at the moment, please consider making a donation to Early Music America's Relief Fund or to the Boston Artist Relief Fund. Donations to these funds go directly in small grants to musicians and other artists who have lost work due to COVID-19.
